Promotions for January 2010
2009 was a great year for NWMA! Evan Dunham made it to the UFC, James Puopolo got 1st place by submitting everyone at the 2009 Worlds in the purple belt division, among others that placed in that tournament. We had a whole new group of guys get there brown belt and Ben Baxter got his black belt. We had a group go to Brazil and compete and bring medals back. All around it was a great year for the school.
And now to start off 2010 right, we had to have a promotions night.
Several students got promoted to start this year off. Rick Brissenden was most shocked of all to receive his brown belt and equally shocked was his wife Jill Brissenden receiving her purple belt. Elton Steyding and Chris Birke both received there purple belts as well. So Congratulations to all those who got promoted, you guys deserve it! Let’s make 2010 equally as good as 2009!
